Ruleguard is a SaaS application company serving the financial sector compliance market. As a leading firm within the innovative "RegTech" sector, we delight in creating cutting-edge business software to make it easy for banks, brokers, and investment firms to comply with regulations. We are seeking a Talent Manager to provide maternity cover within our Talent Team. The successful candidate will be able to deliver a people-focused, high-quality service that supports our workforce.
The Role:
The role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of HR services to the company, maintaining and developing internal procedures, supporting recruitment and retention activities, handling employee-related issues and keeping performance at peak levels. The role is available from March 2024 until May 2025.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Recruitment and Workforce Planning
Recruitment will be a focus for this role, as the company is currently going through an exciting period of expansion. This role will have overall responsibility for the recruitment process, collaborating with hiring managers across the business to deliver a smooth and effective recruitment process. You will also be responsible for processing Visa applications as required. - Inductions
Work with department heads to run an excellent induction process, ensuring new joiners are effectively onboarded and able to hit the ground running as soon as possible. - Leaver Process
You will be responsible for carrying out the offboarding process and conducting exit interviews with leavers. - Performance Management/Career Development & Training
Communicate with management at the time of mid and end-of-year reviews with reminders and guidance. Review the outcomes of review meetings, arrange for extra support where needed and ensure success is celebrated where it has been achieved. Liaise with management following the performance review process to discuss team training needs. - Employee Relations
Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy as required. Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practices with them. Work with managers to manage poor performance situations. - People Policies & Procedures
Ensure all internal people processes are delivered effectively. Ensure all staff-related policies and procedures are communicated effectively. - Internal Communications
Create and circulate engaging internal communications as required. - Culture & Wellbeing
Work with the Head of Talent to deliver the company's Wellbeing strategy. Review and report on the performance of wellbeing strategy/initiatives. Plan and deliver staff social events as per the annual calendar. - Executive Administration
You will be responsible for the administration of the monthly Executive Committee meetings (room bookings, collating and circulating agenda papers and producing minutes of the meetings). You will also be required to produce people data for monthly reporting to the Board.
Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Qualified to CIPD Level 5 preferable

Proven HR generalist experience of 3-5 years

Solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application

Strong problem-solving skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
